1980 Evansville Murder Case to be Featured on Investigation Discovery

If you are a fan of true life crime stories, do yourself a favor a make a point to watch Investigation Discovery, or ID as it's often referred to. It is without a doubt our favorite channels at the G house. It's one of the few things my wife and I can agree on to watch.

A nearly 40-year-old Evansville case will be in the spotlight this week on the new ID show Dead of Winter. The episode, titled "Midnight Mass," will look at the nearly 40-year-old murder of the Gilligan family in Evansville. Donald Ray Wallace, Jr. was convicted of the 1980 murders. He was sentenced to death and eventually executed.

The story airs this Thursday, February 21st at 9pm on Investigation Discovery.
