In West Lebanon, IN, firefighters from 17 surrounding fire departments converged on a pallet fire that broke out just before noon yesterday. Reynolds Wood Products started the fire to dispose of wooden pallets but as the wind picked up, the fire raged out of control.

John Terhune, West Lebanon Fire Chief, stated, "It started as a controlled burn. It got out of hand because it is so windy.
